“I’ve walked many paths—teacher, investigator, advocate, and mediator—and every one has taught me the same truth: real resolution begins when people feel truly heard. My role is to create that safe space, so conflict becomes a doorway to understanding, healing, and stronger futures.” – Amy

With more than three decades of experience in education, law enforcement, legal practice, and advocacy, I help individuals, families, businesses, and organizations resolve conflicts constructively and move forward with clarity and confidence.

My unique background strengthens every mediation and consultation I facilitate. I began as a classroom teacher and education director, working with gifted students, special-needs learners, and families. I later worked in educational management, supporting students who benefitted from non-traditional learning environments. These roles taught me how to listen deeply and create safe spaces where people feel heard.

From 2010 to 2016, I worked as a Special Agent and Criminal Investigator for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, managing complex cases through trial and sentencing. In 2015, following my heart, I founded Forget Me Not Advocacy Group, where I spent nearly a decade delivering workshops on domestic violence prevention, healthy relationships, and self-advocacy, while building Yellowwood Consulting and Mediation into the business it is today.

As a Florida Supreme Court Certified County and Circuit Court, and North Carolina Superior Court, mediator I strive to use my experience to create programs that support peace instead of conflict.

At Yellowwood, my approach is straightforward and human-centered: I listen actively, remain neutral, and guide parties toward practical, lasting agreements that respect everyone’s needs and dignity. Conflict doesn’t have to be the end of the story—it can become an opportunity for understanding and stronger relationships.
